About CCLUXRDC

An institutional platform deepening economic, commercial and institutional cooperation between Luxembourg and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

OUR STORY

Two countries, complementary strengths

CCLUXRDC was established to formalise and strengthen the relationship between Luxembourg and the Democratic Republic of Congo

through a dedicated chamber of commerce platform. Luxembourg is recognised internationally for its financial centre, institutional expertise, multilingual business environment, and role in development cooperation. The DRC, in turn, is one of Africa's most strategically important countries, with exceptional natural resources, a young and dynamic population, growing entrepreneurial activity, and significant long-term potential across infrastructure, energy, finance, agriculture, logistics, and services.

The chamber was created to bring these complementary strengths together in a structured, credible, and practical way. We operate at the intersection of business, development, and diplomacy, connecting Luxembourg-based organisations, DRC stakeholders, diaspora professionals, public institutions, investors, and international partners under one trusted platform. Our purpose is to help transform interest into meaningful cooperation, concrete partnerships, and sustainable economic outcomes.

MISSION & VISION

Why the chamber exists

Mission

To facilitate genuine, mutually beneficial economic and institutional cooperation between Luxembourg and the DRC: creating trusted connections, supporting market understanding, facilitating investment and business dialogue, and helping members engage with the right partners, institutions, and opportunities in a structured and credible manner.

Vision

A robust and trusted Luxembourg–DRC corridor where businesses grow with confidence, capital is connected to responsible opportunities, public institutions collaborate effectively, and partnerships contribute to long-term economic development, innovation, and shared prosperity.
OUR VALUES

Five commitments that govern how the chamber works.

Integrity

Transparent, responsible, evidence-based relationships that protect trust between members, partners, and institutions.

Credibility

Practical facilitation, reliable information, and serious engagement rather than symbolic networking alone.

Impact

Cooperation that leads to measurable outcomes in trade, investment, institutional dialogue, and sustainable development.

Bilingualism

Serving members and partners in both English and French, reflecting the character of the Luxembourg–DRC relationship.
