The DRC's next big investment opportunity may be a railway, not a mine

The 30-year Dilolo–Sakania railway concession and about USD 1.26 billion of planned investment make the Lobito Corridor more than a route for copper and cobalt. The chamber's note points to openings in logistics, energy, agro-processing, local mineral processing and finance, and to the conditions that matter: execution, financing and regulatory stability.

Luxembourg's new compartment regime: an underestimated opening for Africa-focused capital

Bill No. 8814, filed on 30 July 2026, would add an Article 28bis to the AIFM law, allowing alternative investment funds set up as SCS or SCSp to operate with legally separate compartments. The chamber's analysis of what this means for capital directed at Africa (article in French).
