Activity report 2025–2026: a founding first year

Created in August 2025, the Luxembourg – DR Congo Chamber of Commerce presented its first activity report to its Ordinary General Assembly on 5 September 2026. This first year laid the foundations of a bilateral platform serving companies, investors and the diaspora.
The year in figures
Highlights
- Official registration of the Chamber and establishment of its governance.
- Institutional collaboration established with the Embassy of the DR Congo to the Benelux.
- Appointment of seven Honorary Ambassadors and of representatives in Kinshasa and Greater Katanga.
- Dialogue opened with key players: ABBL, Luxembourg for Finance, House of Training, Luxair, FONER and RVA.
- Signature of a memorandum of understanding with Empire MAGNA TRUCKS.
- Partnership with the 14th edition of the Luxembourg Peace Prize.
Heading for 2026–2027
Adopted by the General Assembly, the 2026–2027 action plan marks the move from contacts to concrete achievements. It provides in particular for the opening of the Kinshasa office, the official launch of the Chamber and the organisation of economic missions between the two countries.
